The Best Italian Wine - The Romans Thought So

The Valsusa and more especially Chiomonte Wines were once one of the most popular with the leaders of the Roman Empire. By 2002 these wines had been virtually forgotten until the family saved the vines of their grandfather "Camillo" by buying the "Rocce del Bau" vineyards, birthplace of the celebrated "Fortunato" wine.
